What it does
Practice like it's real. Know if it sounds senior.
Record & transcribe
Answer any TPM question out loud. Whisper transcribes your response in seconds — no typing, no editing, no self-censoring. Just the answer you'd actually give in a room.
Instant scorecard
WPM, filler word count, CART structure score, sentence length distribution. The metrics that distinguish a practised answer from a ramble — quantified for each response.
AI seniority critique
Claude reads your transcript and gives a direct assessment: does this answer sound like a Staff TPM or a mid-level? What specific phrases give it away? What would change the read?
The scorecard
Six signals, one read.
SIGNAL 01
Words per minute
Pacing tells interviewers how comfortable you are with the material. Too fast = unprocessed nerves. Too slow = uncertainty. The target window for senior answers is 130–160 WPM.
SIGNAL 02
Filler word rate
"Um", "like", "you know" — counted and surfaced as a percentage of total words. One filler per 30 words is forgettable; one per 5 is a problem you didn't know you had.
SIGNAL 03
CART structure
Context, Action, Result, Takeaway — the structure senior TPM answers follow. The coach checks which elements appeared, in what order, and how explicitly they were signposted.
SIGNAL 04
Seniority signals
Specific phrases — "I drove alignment across X and Y", "the constraint was Z, so I made the call to…" — that mark someone as a decision-maker rather than a contributor. Tracked and flagged.

Q4Tell me about a project that failed or significantly underperformed. What did you learn, and what would you do differently?
